Linger On

I headed to Luxembourg city center for the Blues’n’Jazz Rallye, series of open air concerts spread around the city hoping to capture some interesting scenes. However, as it often happens in life, the picture I’m most satisfied with has nothing to do the the concerts. Instead it’s a personal take on a very renewed glimpse of the city. I shot this view in the past but I was never satisfied with the results. This time is different, this time I really feel like I captured something.

Linger On - f8, 1/60, ISO 125

It might be placebo but I’m pretty sure the lens I used played a crucial role in the final result. In fact for this shot I had the Contax Zeiss Distagon 28mm. This lens renders the colors exceptionally well. The tones are soft and true-to-life. The lens provides plenty of details without being clinically sharp. In other words it does an incredible job at capturing reality.
